Joseph Eultgen of Eultgen Woodworking

Joseph Eultgen’s passion for woodworking has spanned 33 years for clients throughout the United States. He began his learning process by building theatrical sets, as well as building sets and props for movies. He is primarily self taught, having worked in shops and mills to learn production techniques.

Joseph now builds one of a kind high end furniture, such as entertainment centers, custom cabinetry, liturgical furniture, and other custom architectural mill work. His specialty is the use of exotic hardwoods (such as Carpathian Burl elm and Macasser ebony), veneer work, inlay and marquetry.

Joseph had the lifetime honor of designing/building two chairs for Pope John Paul II while the Pope was visiting St. Louis.  Joseph’s passion and drive for woodworking is accredited to his family.
